This little puppy is all alone in a kill shelter...where his life is coming to an end. Will someone have mercy on this sweet baby? I can possibly help with transport if coming my way. This shelter is very, very rescue friendly. Please give him a chance to grow up in a loving home!

#0683-Shadow is a sweet Black Lab mix puppy about 5 months old as of 7/19/08. He has been very friendly with people and good with other dogs at the shelter. We don't know about cats but can see how he behaves in the presence of shelter cats if needed.

Shadow needs a loving, forever home where he will be considered part of the family and will receive the attention, training, exercise and health care he needs to be a great pet for life. Could it be with you?

Please contact us ASAP if interested in him. We are Preston County's only animal control facility, so intake is high and the pets' time here is short. Adoption days are Mondays and Wednesdays 11AM-7PM.

To cute for words. Gosh, I don't know how you find them all. I have so many in PA,to. And I just concentrate on a few shelters.

This tiny one is at our local shelter. We now have so many on our *Urgent* list. He is the tiniest one, all alone. I feel so terrible for this little guy. I'm not sure of his story...but, I think he came in alone.

Unfortunately, there is no sponsorship at this pound. You simply pay the adoption fee. If an approved rescue is interested, I would be happy to keep him at my house for a few days. Please let me know if I can help. I'm worried about this little guy!

Adoption

The PCAS urges citizens to adopt responsibly. Whether you adopt a pet from our shelter or from another source, please adopt any pet only if you reasonably expect to be able to provide proper care and love for the pet for its entire life and if you will spay/neuter your pet to help control pet overpopulation and its tragic consequences.
Adoption Requirements and Fees
You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. If you rent your home, you must have your landlord's permission to have a pet. Adopters must submit an adoption application. The adoption fee for unaltered pets is $75.00, $50.00 of which is refunded upon receipt of proof of spay/neuter. Spay/neuter is mandatory and enforced by law. Pets six months of age and over must be altered within 30 days of adoption, puppies/kittens within 30 days of when pet is 6 months of age. The adoption fee for pets that are already spayed/neutered is $50.00. Adopter must have the pet examined by a veterinarian with seven days, and we strongly recommend a vet visit immediately after adoption for kittens and puppies.
Adoption Days/Times
At the shelter, Mondays & Wednesdays 11AM-7PM and the first & third Saturdays of the month 9AM-noon. We are also at the Morgantown PETCO most Sundays with cats and kittens that are available for adoption. If you are in our local area, please stop by the shelter or adoption event to meet the pets and apply to adopt.
Out-of-Area Adoptions
We are out-of-state adopter-friendly; adopters must travel to the shelter or adoption event. Please e-mail sbinion@frontiernet.net and request an adoption application that you can submit via e-mail if you are out of our local area. Adopters must travel to the shelter and meet the pet before adoption -- no shipping or transport of adopted pets.
