At the trial on Saturday a lady in our class was NQ'd for having a mint in her mouth when she entered the ring. No doubt her run was going to be 100, and I felt so bad for her. She did come back Sunday and took first in our class with a 100, and no mint!

oh ouch.... a mint of all things....kinda do a "check" leaving the crate to head over to the gate: right dog - check, right collar on dog - check, leash - check, shoes (as opposed to the boots you just ran out for a potty break in) - check, right show armband - check, dog reward suitably placed outside the ring - check, are we at the right ring gate - check.....

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

LOL ... I actually thought about this thread today because I was enjoying a mint in between runs. We did NQ Utility, but it wasn’t the mint as I had finished it before entering the ring, LOL. It was more a brain fart on her part that led to her taking the wrong jump.
