My good friend and training partner is doing amazing things with her French Bulldog. Whenever I see him work I can't help but laugh. He's the best.

There is at least one Frenchie team down here too that I see at trials. Pretty dang adorable. I think most dogs will be able to compete at some level with a dedicated owner and training.

Two out of the top 3 Obedience dogs in the country (as measured by the National Obedience Championship tournament this weekend) are Labs. First and 3rd places were both Labs; 2nd was a Golden.

When I first started out in Obedience, Labs were not thought of as particularly great Obedience dogs, but that has really been changing the last 10 years or so. Got to love it!

Field folks might be interested to know that the National Champion, Cedar is a Lean Mac grandson.

This is very cool, and confirmation that Labradors are the Best!

We are so proud of Kori and "cousin Cedar". I've been lucky enough to train with her for years and my young dog is from the same kennel. No team deserves it more
