WOW, good job Team Brooks. I have no doubt that you will accomplish your goal. Maybe next time work on the competition and let others do the cooking, no wonder your were tired-4 gallons of chili, that's a bunch.

We also did the Junior Test on Sunday at the same venue, but in a different location. I was much more relaxed as I figured we had nothing to loose either way. I'm happy to report that Brooks pinned three of the mark, and had a very short hunt for the short bird (maybe 30 yards) off a winger on land. I had to laugh when one of the judges sarcastically said "it's a shame he doesn't go a little faster!"

We've already been working on the things we will need to do for a Senior Hunter title, doubles, walk ups, blinds on land and water, and he's doing quite well. Biggest issue is getting him too the line. He DRAGGED me to the line at the tests, which he does not do while training. So we will be doing A LOT of practice with line manners!

Congratulations to you and Brook. My little darling failed her JH test last Sunday after passing the harder Working Certificate Excellent on Saturday. For the WCX she did a walking honour with 100 yd mark on a land double then a water double and a land and a water blind. She did all this with flying colours and then on Sunday had a complete meltdown on 2 simple single water marks. She bank ran and wouldn't deliver the bird nicely wanted to play with it. Guess there were just too many hours sitting in the car waiting her turn.
Hope you will carry on to senior next year Barry. You have a great looking dog.
