She did great! I'm not sure where she lost points, maybe a slight lag on the figure 8, but not sure what else.

I'm guessing slightly crooked halts and her finish was a tad behind me. She only lost 1/2 on the Heel on Lead/Figure 8, and that was definitely for a slightly crooked sit (the one going across the back of the ring). She lost another 1/2 point on the recall which I think was the finish - her front is straight but she ever so slightly wraps her butt around behind me, and a full point on the Heel Free and I have no idea why. Guessing her halts but I'm not sure because I had thought they were better than in the Heel on Lead. He may have been looking extra close when he saw how well she was working though ...

For what it's worth, I would have taken 1/2 on that Figure 8 too, but guess he didn't consider it to be too bad, LOL. Then again, the dog that we tied with had a bigger lag on the fast that I'm not sure was scored. Every judge has their things they care more about and for him (been showing to him for years) it's sits - both on heeling and on finishes.

Yeah I did notice he was writing after the halts on the heeling pattern.
