    Sun reflecting tarps

Question for all you experienced dog show peeps...what is the best sun reflecting tarp to get to put over the back of my car when I have to leave Diggity in there for periods of time during an event? I have him in a crate in the back of my SUV and I leave the back open as well as the windows. I see a lot of people with silver reflective tarps and I am wondering what the options are for those?

I have one of these in 12x18. It does a great job helping keep the inside of the car cool. I like that it allows some airflow through it.

Amazon.com : Stone Shade Tarps 80% Aluminet Shade Net 12x12+ 10pcs Bungee Cords : Gateway

Just about everyone I train with use these too: RYOBI 18-Volt ONE+ Hybrid Portable Fan (Tool Only)-P3320 - The Home Depot

The only bad thing about the fan is you have to buy batteries separate, and they are pretty expensive. I carry three with me so I can ego for hours and hours and not worry about it dying. You can also run it off a regular 120v outlet with an extension cord.

I have a reflective tarp that I've had for YEARS so don't remember the brand particularly. It's smoother than the one Barry uses (which I've seen a lot) and solid colored on the one side. Kind of like this one although as I said I have no idea the brand https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 What I like about it is that you can use it as a waterproof ground cover if needed OR as a reflective one for the car depending on the conditions and whether you are showing out of your car or setting up a crate (which usually depends for me on how far away from the obedience ring the parking is). Those fans are nice, too .... I don't have one but I've eyed them jealously. Most of the outdoor shows around here no longer offer Obedience though, so I don't need it as much as I used to.

I think you copied the wrong link into your message. Curious to know which one you recommend.

Got this one and it works great! It’s big, but I can cover pretty much my whole SUV. I attach it to my side mirrors and then drape it over the opened rear hatchback door and it goes almost all the way to the ground.

    Looking into the fan next.

    Thanks!
