      Back on the Dock!

We had class this morning (dock diving). Penny is looking as good as ever! unfortunately, her handler (me!) needs a lot of work LOL! the throw (timing, height, distance) is pretty key to getting the "best" jump out of the dog and my throwing abilities are…very bad (part of why i haven't really gone for frisbee haha). Penny had a blast!

Cannot wait to try some of the other competition categories (speed retriever and the height).

Fun! BTW, it is ok to "throw like a girl", many of us have that issue, lol!! As long as Penny has fun that is all that really matters anyway.

Have you ever pulled up any of the Super Retriever Series videos? They have some awesome jumps on film. Though mostly all retrievers, I noticed that they have other breeds as well.

And I LOVE the field work and the narrators. (They make the FT and the HT people go head-to-head. Really cool.) But that's just me. They really have great crowds for the dock diving.

In all my years, I've yet to master a Frisbee. Darn thing goes everywhere except where I want. Luckily none of our dogs have been Frisbee addicts, LOL.

I'm sure you and POPTOP can throw better than these guys.

AHHAHA ok yes I am better than that. though - they actually seem to be "throwing" in a straight line so that may still be "better" - at least it gets in the direction they want it to go

OMG, that's too funny. They do seem to be deliberately throwing it that way. Then again . . . .
