    Another Dock Diving Weekend

Last weekend was our last summer dock diving weekend. It was a very long, very hot weekend! Pen did pretty good. she is pretty steady in teh 20-22' group. She got one 22.4' jump which is her personal best. She was first in all her waves - EXCEPT the finals (we went into them in first place! haha) where she came in second. Oops She did well. Rocky was our cheerleader and took a few swims in the pool to stay cool

I thought that would be it for dock diving competitions but there are three potentials in the fall (I wo'nt do all three). one is local so i'll definately go, but it'll be put on by a new group forming to put on dock diving. I am a bit disapointed a third group is starting, hard enough for the current groups to get out and find venues The other two require travel so I may go to one if I can swing it. Will be much more expensive as either will require hotel stays (I don't camp, never mind in october). I'll see if anyone wants to carpool

And now - we concentrate on agility. Will be doing at least 2 classes a week and need to get out to practice at least one more time in the week (plus at home stuff). she's nearly ready for some basic fun runs so i wanted to get her ready before the season ends.

the biggest issue with agility is me - I am so lost. it's so very complicated, the handlign and mental part. Looking to start reading some books and blogs to "get my brain in teh game". I just feel so lost.

A full summer of dock diving and nary a video has been shared with us. Not a complaint, just an observation.

Unfortunately I have little video of her, and few photos. I am usually the one taking photos and videos. If we make it out to the dock this Friday I hope to have my friend jump penny (this would be a first) so I can watch and get some video maybe

But yeah i don't have any friends who take video while we jump The photos from the first weekend by the photographer were the best ones (and some of the few really), I can post those again

Ditto with agility, I have maybe 1-2 photos and maybe 1 video of a run after two summers
