Had Chloe out in Utility today

I did show her back in October at our Specialty, but I knew then she wasn’t really ready after being out on maternity leave, so this was the first time since puppies and spay that I felt she was ready to go back in the ring. And boy was she ready! 195.5 for her first Utility leg. She was nailing her fronts and finishes ... had two substantials for a bad glove pivot (over pivoted glove one so was looking at two, but I was able to redirect) and for picking up and putting down the correct article (think she was just second guessing herself), so the rest of the class was darn near perfect. Best Utility score ANY of mine have ever earned, LOL. On the way home I got her a cheeseburger, and the look on her face as I unwrapped it and gave it to her was SO cute. I’ve always only done that after earning Utility legs, so this was her first time. Words cannot express how much I love this dog!

I didn’t get an “official” picture, but a friend took this for me ....

Congrats!!!! And dang, if I knew you are at the specialty I would have said hello - we were there, did the JH test and agility with the one dog, and because I was there I did BN obedience with a very green dog who was 7 months old at the time and we hadn't put much training, we qualified but it was messy (which was what I expected, now waiting until he is totally ready to compete). We even tried the dock diving.
