    Sam had a blast!

Yesterday I helped to assemble the pool & dock. Then Sam got to do a few practice jumps.

Today, he was entered in the first two waves. He didn't do very well, 8 feet 7 inches was his best. But he did jump and he did have a LOT of fun. He goes nuts wanting up the stairs and onto the dock.

I had someone shoot video but it jumps around so much (a lot of camera movement) that I don't like looking at it and I won't inflict it on you. So here's the after photo. Too bad there's no prize for the best belly flop!

I think that's great, some dogs don't even jump that distance. Sounds like fun for all!

Compared to when he would not jump at all it's great. Compared to the dogs jumping over 20 feet it's not so much. But I was happy and he was very happy. I had a hard time holding him in line because he wanted up on the dock so badly.
