Wow....just....wow... What is WRONG with some people?!

I guess I'd tell her the truth too - that her behavior only confirms your decision to not adopt Zeke to her and her family and that if she continues to text you, you will be forced to file a harassment restraining order against her.

My gosh.

I'd tell her it's because I didn't like her shoes.

Good luck to Zeke!

All of the above.

Good grief.

She probably sent the text saying they couldn't adopt w/o her dh's knowledge and caught a lot of flack for it.

Getting an email strictly for rescue activities would help. And, I think I would have added her to my blocked list after the 5th email.

Thx for putting up with it for the doggies.

Deb

Yeah, I get the feeling she texted me saying they couldn't take Zeke without her husband knowing, and when he found out he must've gotten upset, so she tried to fix it by saying they did want him.

Guess what, I'm not duuuuumb~

P.S Zeke's adopters LOVED him. They let him meet their puppy, he was very gentle, I told her they will be friends fast. She called me this morning, to tell me she has his neuter appointment for Wednesday and she needs his shots records. I'm so glad.

Yay - I am so glad he has a great forever home - the first family was definitely NOT the right choice.
I suspect, as said previously, she sent the text declining him w/o telling her DH and got tons of grief for it. Now...she can BLAME it all on YOU! LOL!
Crazy people.
Thank you for what you do for these pups!

I never would have married a guy who wasn't a dog person and I think that people who love dogs should never marry someone who doesn't want them. It's a basic incompatibility issue. Why do people do that?

It was actually one of the first questions I asked DH on our first date. "Do you like dogs?" and that spawned a conversation that lasted a good two hours about our childhood dogs. If he had said no, I wouldn't have gone out with him for the second date.

First of all, YAY for Zeke finding such a wonderful mama and sister!

Second, what? Get rid of your cats to adopt a dog? Poor kitties, I bet they all would have gotten along. I'm sorry you had to go through all of this.

& this woman knows where you live

But seriously what is wrong with her? She is aware that people with mental health illnesses aren't supposed to have dogs right?

If my DH ever said hey let's get rid of Callie and get this pet, I'd leave him so quick he'd never know he was married.

Makes no sense to leave other animals without a home when someone else wants to take him and wouldn't have to get rid of any animals to begin with. . . Oh now I'm rambling. . .
