Aowyn Has a Bloody/Pussing Boil on upper lip

Aowyn started getting puppy pimples and we know its associated with her allergies. We missed her probiotics for a couple weeks and it typical die off and stuff associated with the killing of the bad bacteria. Now that she is back on them, most are gone but for at least the last week she has a pimple/boil that appears to be about a quarter inch in diameter that will pop and ooze lots of blood and puss....

I have been putting peroxide on it, but i am not sure what else to put on it to help it heal. After it looks like it has been drained it appears to fill up again...any thoughts and suggestions let me know.

Thanks.

I would suggest that you stop putting peroxide on it. Peroxide does disinfect but it always destroys what the body needs to repair and heal so using it repeatedly will inhibit that process. Perhaps just wiping it with some witch hazel would be helpful. Best wishes!

My Mood: Lurking
Grace gets something similar on her lip too. I have never been able to figure out what it is or why it happens. I've drained it a bit and it usually heals up quick after that.
