She even knows basic commands! What a pretty, pretty girl! Contact me if you're interested! I'm sure we could make a pull happen, and I have someone in WA that is willing to foster her for a week (but not more, they're going on vacation) until a transport can happen.

She is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! How could her owners surrender her to a shelter??? Unbelievable...

What a beautiful girl! She will be snatched up in a heartbeat. I can't believe a family could actually give her up! What is wrong with people?

She looks so sweet, wish washington wasn't so far away. She looks like she'd be a good friend for Chopper!!

I don't understand why someone would give up such a wonderful sounding dog. It would be like giving up one of my children. Maybe that's why dogs are so much better than some people. They have so much more to give, and they don't ask for much. I would love to have her.

Joe, would you like me to call about her today? I'm sure that with everything that has gone on, Linda would pull her under LOLIN for you, and I have a good foster for her...

How would that work? I'm unfamiliar with how LOIN would come into play.

Or with your previous bad experience....

Go ahead and call about her today. If all goes well I'll let you put a hold on her and I'll get ahold of the foster volunteer for her and we'll get in contact with someone who will do the transport, ok? That way you know that no one is going to take your dog from under your nose again.

Hoping she is still there for you!!!

I'm very concerned about where this dog is going...I can do a short term foster in E. Washington, but Emily said, I leave on vacation the last week of september so it would have to be sorted out before then. It's in longview, so if I needed to foster, I would need help with the transport.

Joe, I hope you can take this girl!! I would in a heartbeat if I could!!!

Why would the family give her up. :cry2: I just don't understand. Let me know what you decide, Joe. My husband may know of someone looking for a lab.

Just spoke with my husband. He thinks he has someone who might be interested, but we won't know until tomorrow. I'll let you know what I find out.

That would be wonderful. I just went on mapquest to plot out a transport run. It would take 30 hours from Longview, WA to Spring Green, WI, a total of 2,023 miles.

 Wow! I hope this works out. Western Washington to Eastern Washington is only 2.5 hours. :D If the people who my husband is thinking of decide to get her, she will be going to a WONDERFUL family!

 I'm glad she was adopted. The people we knew called the shelter today for more info. I don't have any details...my husband hasn't spoken to them since early this morning. I wonder if she was already adopted when they called?
