Hello Everyone! Well as my signature line states, I currently have a lab named Maximus (we call him moose for short...feels more like a cow when he sits on you...ALL 75 lbs) who is a little over 2 years old and a GSD, Romulus a little over 1 1/2 years. I will be picking up my female Lab, (which is how I found this site as I have stayed with the same breeder as with our first lab) which I have named Bella next week and will post her puppy pictures. Quite a handful, QUITE! Figuring we have 2 males, it might be smart to get a female this time around and then no more dogs. Our lab acts like more of a GSD than vice/versa. I think if they were any other way, them might not have worked out as well as they have. They are extremely comical and are best of buddies. Definately 2 dogs that cannot live without each other. Okay maybe so, but the sadness that is displayed when one is gone is quite noticable. Funny thing, but a lot of people ask us if our lab is a pit bull? We laugh but understand and nod our head "No" each and every time. He is short, stocky and quite muscular so it leads people to believe he is not a 100% lab. We joke but he does look like he lifts weights at the local powerhouse gym.
Our lab Maximus is truly the "King Of The Castle" or so HE thinks!
I will post pics of our Lab as this is a site for Labs but thought we would share this pic for our first time post.
