I have 2 female black lab pups available for adoption in the Atlanta, GA area. Molly and Polly were dumped by a river to starve to death when they were found by a family. I wanted one but ended up w/ all 3. We are keeping only 1 of the girls and need great homes for the other 2. They have a splash of white on their chests. Molly has a little white on the tips of her feet. Polly has 3 white feet. They are fabulous pups!! Very even tempered. Polly does like to dig and her sisters encourage her LOL. They weighed about 6 lbs 2 weeks ago but are about 8-9 lbs right now. They are about 9-10 weeks old. They will be spayed on 7/15. Their adoption fees are $150 ea to cover their vetting. They love other dogs (they are learning to become schnauzers :) by default). Unknown w/ cats but they would probably love them too. Let me know ASAP if you would like to adopt one of my girls.

Here I am looking for another lab and all these puppies are being abandoned and none to be found for rescue before Humane society in our area. I would like to get the puppy before people take it to the Humane so that they could see that the puppy went to a good and loving home. Too bad you lived so far away. Have the puppies been adopted? Breaks my heart to hear of people getting rid of such fabulous dogs like this.

These girls are NOT going to a humane society!! They are living w/ us here in our home. They ended up not being spayed today due to a severe infestation of hookworms. They will be spayed as soon as they recover. Molly had to have a blood transfusion to save her life yesterday and I am cooking eggs and giving her treats, etc to stimulate her appetite as she lost 2.5 lbs in 2 days. They only weigh 9-10 lbs to start w/ so you can see the severity of her illness :( Thru all this, they just lick the vet and technicians working on them. I bring them home at nite and check on them every hour or more. They have been dewormed for 2 days now and one more day to go. They are happy-go-lucky girls. :D Our shelters are full of labs as well so these girls will be here until their forever homes are found. I found them thru Petfinder.com where the people who rescued them from the river had posted them.

I would be like you just loving them to death (figure of speech)! Poor little honies they have been through so much!! How lucky they have you there to care for them and to love them. I wish I lived closer to give one of them a great life. Thanks for keeping me posted and I would love to hear how they make out and if they find a home.
