The people that have been keeping these 2 puppies had their home and from the sounds of it-the entire town nearly completley leveled by recent tornadoes. They need urgent help w/ these 2 puppies if anyone can help-please let me know and I'll send you contact information.

Hero & Brandy: Two "Teenage Labrador Retriever Puppies": We have not had the two "dump off" lab pups very long, and with now incompassing doctor costs over top of insurance, have not had the extra funds to spay and neuter as good little rescues should (smack our hands). These dogs' owner just gave them to us instead of shooting them. Hero and Brandy are both very nice purebred Lab puppies, exact age not known, a guess is around 6 months of age, both would do very well in obedience. They have just been having fun playing in the play yard, running on walks in the pastures, running and jumping in the ponds (will definitely be water dogs - potential hunters maybe or even water SAR??) Both show great potential as service dogs for the handicapped - they show all of the qualities needed in a service dogs, great drive, great ball drive, ball ball ball ball, what else is there????? (wife DID train them specifically, now is unable to train any dog). They would be good dogs to go into a "program", or would do excellent as an owner-trained Service Dogs. With the little bit my wife had been able to do with them, they both have been worked with the operant conditioning method, as all the dogs had been. They would also be a great candidates for a detection dog - SAR dog, bomb dog, or the like. In all honesty, Hero and Brandy have a ton of potential to be anything, from a pet, to good hunting dogs, to a service dog, to a dog to a canine worker or "soldier" for the USA. Here are two dogs that were going to be shot that could do a lot of good for someone. FOSTERS, RESCUES, PLEASE TAKE THESE DOGS... WE CANNOT KEEP THEM. No fee, they were dumped on us.
