In my town there is a tiny little pet store and the owner is just amazing. People call her from all over the county with stories of rescues that are in trouble. Usually she takes them in for a while and then hunts feverishly to place them because there are always more coming.

Well, i stopped by the other day and she told me a story I could not believe. Saturday morning she gets a call from some woman in town. She says she has 2 black english labs, 1 boy 1 girl, they are almost 1 year old. The woman proceeds to tell the shop owner how she has spent over $1500.00 to private train these dogs and they are great but... Well it seems she has recently remodeled and they " just don't fit anymore." My friend is totally shocked, she must have heard this wrong. Nope, the woman wants to just get rid of these dogs because they don't fit. Like they're furniture.
My friend could not take them in just yet so she made the woman promise not to just take them to the shelter. She's got 2 weeks to find them homes.


So here I am, just putting it out there. I know how great you all are at helping find homes for dogs. If anyone is interested please let me know , I can put you in contact with the store owner.

Maybe if you could get them to Ohio!
