Located at the spalding county animal shelter in Griffin Georgia.
Two very sweet loving labs will be killed by gas in the morning without rescue or sponsorship. I have met these two wonderful dogs. Henry is so wonderful he is already neutered and just wants to have a moment of your time to lick your hand.
Hank is so sweet he loves to give kisses and has never been loved back.

If you can help either rescue /adopt or sponsor please email me asap. We can arrange transport to anywhere as well as pulling the dog. Adoption papers have to be faxed in before 8am or its too late.
Here is a link to the shelter site.

They are and so loving. There hasnt been any intrest in either one. How sad for them. I already have 4 dogs and I am not allowed to have anymore. If someone could just foster them or something. I will not sleep tonight those faces are burned into my head.

Robin, & I have been pming eachother for quite a
few hours back & forth earlier this evening, she is
the one who posted them, she is affiliated with
DeathrowDogRescue also, she sent my info to them
so we could find out if sponsoring would interrupt
the killing, it is suppose to be tomorrow AM,
I expressed my concern if it could be stopped
before tomorrow morning, if sponsoring is applicable
in this situation, she most likely feels that yes
it could be stopped, I will update as soon as
I get some more info, I told them that I would
be up late tonite, but, I'm starting to get nervous
that I haven't heard anything yet, but
I'll keep positive thoughts.
Please also, if anyone also wants to foster
or adopt, let us know.
Martha

They both are incredibly sweet looking; they've haunted me since this morning. It is more than their photos; the write up describes two loving labs ready to be best-ever buddies and companions. Robin and Martha, I only wish their owners had cared half as much about them as both of you do!

I hope it is not too late and Martha's kind generosity buys these two time. They would still need a rescue or adoptive home.

Best of thoughts,
Susan

Hi everyone here is an update on the two labs.
Martha and Lily are going to be taking care of the board for the dogs.I am now faxing over adoption paperwork to spare them from the gas chamber in the morning.
We are now in dire need of placing them in either a home, foster or rescue. If anyone can help us please let me know. We are desperate.

These two boys have no idea of what is going on but I bet their noses are itching like crazy with us talking about them all day !!

Thank you so much Robin...:)

Does anyone have room for one of these sweet, sweet boys? They still need rescue, foster or adoption.

They are both incredibly sweet....:o:

Robin and Martha,

Any word on whether the paperwork was received in time and whether Henry and Hank are safe for now?

I talked with Martha about these two beautiful boys. I e-mailed Quincey to see if Adopt A Lab can take Henry and Hank. I'll let you know when she contacts me if they are able to take them. I understand that they will be in boarding for 5-7 days, but we would need time to get a transport together if AAL takes them. They would definately need to be heartworm tested and utd on shots for transport. I'll keep you posted.

Henry is NOT a Boy, it's
a SHE, so her name is now
Henna.
They are in boarding still, we hope to get them
out of there, please consider them -
Rescues, fosters, adopters...
and please cross post, thank you,

Awww she is Adorable....

Martha, sounds like you may need to get Sable a playmate. I keep trying with Valerie, but she won't have it until the baby is born and a new house. LOL!!!

Aowyn gets plenty of playdates with Reese though, and boy are they a couple.

Martha, this is great news! Sable must love the company :D
However I am a wee bit confused, the dates on the some of the posts are from June? Am I seeing things? :floor

That's correct Jane, & for their sake thank goodness
today starts a new life for them,
they were pulled from the GA shelter in June,
& then boarded at a Kennel, still no one
adopted them, then they went to the
Vet's place & has been there since July,
so it's been along time for Hannah & Henry...
