There are those dogs whose stories reach out and grab your heart. This is one of them for me. This is Annie, 5 yo, owner surrender black lab. She is such a sweetie, has a heart of gold and is a shelter favorite.

Apparently her owner was moving, had two dogs and could only move with one. Well, poor Annie lost the draw. She is at Lake County Animal Shelter and needs to find a good home. My shelter contact says she might even have papers....

I called regarding fostering her but she has melted the hearts of all at the shelter and won't be PTS... they suggest saving my foster situation for the next urgent case.

Can you or anybody you know give this girl a terrific forever home?

Just found out she is still intact and needs shots. She is totally okay with other dogs, great with cats, good with kids, DOES definatley have papers and pedigree, swims, retrieves, plays and IS INSANELY HOUSEBROKE. She won't even potty in the indoor kennel!

I love her.....
