Hey, I have been feeding my 2 year old male lab Acana Adult Dog for 3 months now and he seems to be taking to it well. This is a Canadian company and transfers to a pretty good deal price wise here where I live in Ontario Canada. I was buying California Natural C+R but it got to almost $70 a 30lb bag here in Ontario , Acana Adult is $49 here.

Is Acana a good company and does the Acana adult dog look to be a good food to maintain him for a few years? http://www.championpetfoods.com/acana/show-product.php?formulation=ad

If I were feeding my two dogs kibble with grains, Acana Adult dog is certainly one I'd be trying. The ingredients are great and I like the guaranteed analysis. Just as importantly, I think the Champion Pet Food Co. is one of the more trust worthy. I feed the Acana Prairie Harvest (moderate grain-free) to my dogs and it is a good match.

Isnt this the same company that makes Orijen? Thats what I feed, and P is doing great on it so far. I trust the company.

Since the transition from the breeder's food we've been on various forms of Acana and all have been awesome. The transition from puppy to junior to adult has been flawless as well. We're very happy with it. I guess we're not really at the "long term results" stage yet, but it's been....6 months or so. So far, so excellent.
