I would like to do a nice photo shoot with my dogs :D Any tips? What kinds of props should I get? How do I keep them interested - with Kirby I am thinking of buying some cheese, not sure what Ariels FAVE things is yet. Also? How do I make a puppy endure a photo shoot? I would like to get pics of them together and alone :)

Honestly, the thing I found most valuable when I tried to do a photo shoot was to have a second person with you. Brittany (little boomer) just had a whole bunch of treats and the dogs focused on her - that gave me the ability to move around and get different angles (and gave me more time to set up my shots).

If I try to just take photos of Cooper by myself, and I have a treat in my hand, it is a disaster - his nose is always in the lens of my camera before I can take the shot.

I would agree with what Beth said. Have a helper that can get the dogs to focus on them. Treats, squeaky toys, anything that will get their attention will help make your job )as the photographer) easier.

Yep, second person and get them out exercising a little bit if you want them to be animated. You get a lot of good facial expressions when they're opening their mouths to breathe. A good brushing beforehand will help get stuff off their fur that seems to get magnified by the camera lens. Either that or learn how to use the clone tool in PS. :)
