This wonderful photo received the most votes, but just barely won over the great picture submitted by Nevada Jim. But, Nevada Jim won a few months ago, so he can't feel too bad ... I'll repost his picture, too.
In honor of the late Duke:

I don't blame you, Melissa! As long as it isn't something we haven't done in a month or two, don't feel bad if you want to do something we've done before. No pressure, but get your theme to me NOW! ;) :shout: :whip:

Just kidding ... March is a long month, so take your time. :)

After just reading what you went through with customs, Melissa, I apologize for being a smart-a$$. Whew!!! Take your time, OK?

Good job and a great pic! We are trying to train Calley to help give baths, but she just likes to play in the tub. :roll2:

Good to see that such a clean picture won! :D

I"m so late on this but wanted to say to LMD2M congrats on the WIN... it was a classic picture! One you have to frame for the little one when he is older!

Congratulations on your winning beautiful photo. I think there must be other places you could have it published and win prize dollars even. At any rate it's one to cherish.

Thanks so much for honoring Duke. It's been two weeks now and I can almost post stories or pics of him with dry eyes ... almost.

We had Duke cremated. The gals at his vet clinic made an absolutely wonderful tribute to him for us. His ashes are in a beautiful Koa wood container and they placed a picture of Duke together with a lock of his black-white-tan fur and the "Rainbow Bridge" poem in a beautiful matching wooden frame. I have his collar with tags hanging over the frame. Cappy sniffs it several times each day. Undoubtedly he picks up Duke's scent from the collar.

But I like to think that he "visits" with his big brother and tells him that he's missed. He really is.
