This big boy was very sad hanging his head and not looking up...until I walked in, then he came to me and sat waiting to get leashed and go. He kept looking back at me as if to say OK I'm ready... poor guy doesn't understand...this may be the end of the line for him. He is a loving big boy and he must have eaten well or exercise NOT. He was very concerned for me after I left his kennel so he must have known a family and he must have been very devoted to them. He watched me the rest of the time I was there. Hurry before he loses all hope and gives up. To make sure that this great dog is safe, come to the shelter before 5 PM on Monday, June 19. The shelter will try and hold over if there is space, but it is a very small facility with only 12 dog adoption kennels. The shelter is extremely crowded at this time of the year. They try to keep puppies longer, but they often get sick if they stay too long. IF YOU CAN FOSTER THIS DOG FOR A MINIMUM OF 60 DAYS FOR A RESCUE GROUP, PLEASE EMAIL ME AT rescuerealtor@cox.net. You must be local to foster.
