I've been watching this pound on petfinder for months. I can't sit by and just watch anymore. But I have no contacts there and I'm not real sure what the rules are. I don't like to pull/post from out of state unless somebody I trust can evaluate the dog. Dog agression is my largest concerned I unfortunately (like most of us I think) do not have the space to seperate a dog agressive dog from the others...health and other behavioural problems (I can't imagine a people agressive dog makes it out of this pound) are workable.

They euth weekly. Friday mornings, can't sponsor, no vetting..not much of anything it is an animal control facility. $8.00 to adopt. There is a group of volunteers that work with this pound Alliance4Animals@aol.com but I don't know any of them. I'm trying to find somebody close that can help??? Long shot I'm sure but worth asking. I have seen a few dogs held over but rarely longer than 2 weeks.

I don't know if she'll make it out of there today...I will torture myself and watch. I don't want another week to go by without me asking if anyone knows anything or can help???

Oh, what can we do? Anyone in that area? Can anyone pull some of these dogs? I will do whatever I can to help!

I e-mailed the group listed. Asking questions and advice. The pound is only 2 hrs from me, hopefully I can get a good contact. I'm not sure she made it out or not..I really hope so but I don't have a good feeling because she is no longer listed :tissue: .

WHEW She was pulled for an Ohio rescue...SHE IS SAFE!
