Well, this makes me sad. I'll keep this short, my keyboard is being wonky.

We're closing, as soon as a good home for Forrest has been found.

Forrest is 2ish, chocolate, heartworm positive, and has hip dysplasia, but is showing no signs of pain from his hip disorder. He comes neutered, with all shots, microchipped, will be treated for heartworms before adoption. He's a fence climber, and any kitty family members must have claws.

We also have funds to donate to a rescue, the amount is unknown until the heartworm treatment and any shipping costs have been paid for.

We also have new Lupine collars and leads and around 10 HomeAgain microchips to be donated to a lab rescue upon liquidation.

If anyone is interested, please contact me at 501-350-9501 or camille@mail.arkansaslabradorrescue.org

Again, we'll be here until Forrest's forever home is found.

There is a need for a lab rescue here. It's too big of a need for me to fill alone. I don't have the network, so I'm going to associate with either CARE for Animals or the Pulaski County Humane Society. I will also be taking animal law cases in the state pro bono.

God bless.

Oh Camille I"m sorry to read this but I know you will always be involved.

I have to say that I will be forever grateful that you were there to help Hershey and I find one another. It has been a wonderful 10 months (already) and I know that if it wasn't for your help he may have never been taken out of that shelter. Thank you so very much.

Oh Camille, I am so sorry to hear this, but I know how you feel. There are just so many of them out there and other than the great people and rescues here it does not seem like too many people even care. I too have been swamped by dogs in the last week and have 27 on my waiting list right now. Sadly, most of those people won't wait until I am able to make room and will either take them to the pound or dump them.

I want to thank you for being there and helping all the dogs you have. It is so hard when you are on your own. I am glad to hear that you will be staying in rescue and helping the other groups. Please don't be a stranger and remember your friends here if you need any help. Let me know if I can help in any way with Forrest. Best wishes for his treatment.

I'm so sorry, Camille. There is a time when I feel I'm close to the same point.

Glad to hear you'll stay involved somehow.. we need people like you on this side!

I'm sorry to hear that, Camille. I can only imagine how difficult it is to try and run a rescue. You've done some really great work.

We are good here. The storms were to the north. Our state is devastated in parts.

We aren't going anywhere. Stay tuned, I'm restructuring in a new way that I think will work for everyone.

Say a prayer for Forrest. I can't get in contact with his foster home. They weren't in the storm's path, but still, I will be upset if I've lost touch with them. He needs his heartworm treatment!

I am glad that you may be finding a way to work it all out. Arkansas is one of those states with so many dogs, and I know that you are doing all that you can for them, Camille. Thank you for all of your work. Sending good thoughts for Forrest....
