Look at this poor girl, I saw this posted over on Acme, not sure if she is at the shelter, in foster care but I thought her story was worth posting.

My story is sad to tell. My owner bought me from a breeder a couple months back. Just this week I was riding around in the back of her SUV (with the window down). Suddenly I jumped. I was then hanging from my collar and bouncing off the back tire. My leg was broken and my family didn't have the money to fix me so they signed me over to a nice vet who fixed me up and placed me with the shelter. The shelter promised to find me a good home and take care of me. Will you love me and keep me safe? and please spread the word...no dogs should ride with the windows open!!!

I could just choke some of these ignorant people....and then to write her off because they didn't have the $$ to pay for the injuries they caused...my blood pressure just skyrocketed.

What a doll!! She surely will find a better forever home than the one that thought she was disposable! I'd take her in a second!

Awww....what a little darling. Maybe the owner should be dangled out a window.... :nono:

OMG! I can't believe people can so be stupid. Poor girl, I can't imagine how much pain she had to have gone through dangling there.... atleast she's got a shot at a better life now. Wonder if the breeder knows?
Oh that is so sad! Her family leaves her when she needs them the most? I don't think that a lot of people take into consideration all of the unexpected extra costs associated with a dog. We never thought that we would have spent the kind of money that we have on our dogs (mostly Cosmo) but we have made sacrafices to make him as healthy as can be. I hope that she finds a wonderful home where she will be loved.

OH GOD...what a horribly, sad story....(here I go again) I can't believe some people....to leave the window open in their SUV...it is completely their fault...and just to think that they didn't even have the decency to help their own dog.... :bang: We too travel with our Labby and we have a very nice pick-up truck with a cap on it. Toby goes in the back, (he travels well and has his bed and water always) we would NEVER, EVER, dream of leaving the back window open...I would never trust him for he may jump too...how can some people be so STUPID.. I'm sorry, I just had to vent again...I am praying that this sweetheart finds the home that he deserves....

Now, see, why aren't the owners charged with neglect or something like that......you all know what I usually say here....

I agree with the neglect part... There should be a law. I am always terrified that my dogs will jump out - it is one of my worst fears. I am so careful with the windows.
I have idiot neighbors (yes, THOSE people again) who put their dog in the back of their truck because they don't want dog hair IN the inside. I cringe when I see them drive off. They could care less what I think. This is the same chick that says she wants to be an "Animal Cop" like on t.v... (picture me shuddering in amazement right now).
This is a sad story - and such a beautiful girl. I hope she finds a wonderful home.

I guess car vacuumshaven't made it out your way yet? Oh she'll be on Animal Cops all right, even a starring role, just not the role she is thinking.
