Please help-my 5 month old lab is peeing in her crate everyday! When i come home from work, her sheet is soaked? Any advice would be appreciated.

about 7 hours, however, she holds it all night-for about 10 hours.

i would take out the bedding for a couple of weeks.puppies like to pee on porous surfaces.also dogs don't like to eat in their bathroom areas.try feeding puppy in the crate and randomly throw food treats on the crate floor.
you could also try rationing the amout of water you give her so she can hold her bladder for a little longer.good luck.

I feel your pain. My lab is 18 wks. old and he is doing the same thing. What really does seem to help is taking out the sheets. When I do that it really cuts down on the amount of times that he pees in his crate. But if he does pee he gets covered in it. It's weird because my last lab never pee'd in his crate no matter how long he was in there. But I also have a beagle who had the same problems and once I quit putting a towel in his crate he quit doing it w/in about 2-3 wks. Needless to say he got a lot of baths.

Keep me updated
