hey ya'll. i work at a vet clinic, so i see alot come and go that most people don't see happen to animals. I hate seeing any lab come in with a problem. and i also think i gotta talk to every lab that does come in:D . but anywas. This dog Bear, a yellow lab came in and he was not able to use his back legs. we believe it is Rocky mountian spotted fever, casued by ticks. but not sure. she is on fliuds, and on major pain killers and medicene. over the days he is doing better. he can sit now, dec. 5 2003. i will keep yall posted. today i went to work just to take care of the animals over the weekend that are there while we are closed. Bear wasn't there. not sure if he went home or owner didn't wanna pay so he was put to sleep, or the end was near so he was put to sleep, or he just died. thursday when i left he seemed to be okay. wagging tail and trying to stand up. i'll keep you posted.
