So we are trying to figure out the correct amount of food for Chance. He's around 7 months old and getting close to 60 pounds. He's getting a decent amount of exercise. I personally like to go by k/cal's per day for my two and I'm trying to figure out the correct amount for Chance. I've never been in charge of a food intake for a dog under 1 years old and I don't want to feed too little or too much. Right now I'm kinda guessing/trying 1900 k/cals a day. Which equals about 5 total cups of eagle pack holistic duck with some treats. Bodhi is 85 pounds and gets a little over 4 cups a day with some treats to equal around 1600 k/cals but he is turning 4 in a month and little Karma only needs around 1000 k/cals a day to hold her weight. Any suggestions for a growing boy like Chance? k/cals or cups per day?

When Dakota was under 1 years old, I fed her 3 cups a day. And she grew at a slow and even rate and she never got chunky.
