I am black and sort of large for a baby with lovely webbed toes...Nancy says that my nose is too pointy and I have a just a teeny white mark on my chest. But the Labrador in me is crying out for help. I was rescued in Holts Summit by a very nice lady policeman who loved me but the rules are the rules you know...and so she took me to Nancy who has been my foster mom for the last 2 weeks. I found out today that I'll never be going home again. I have already had more days than the nice policeman is supposed to allow and so my time is up. If there is anyone who can help me please let Nancy know before 1 PM tomorrow. Call or email 573-896-4947. I am a healthy girl and I can email you my mug shot. I want to live and continue to love everyone I get a chance to meet. Can anyone help?

I wish we lived closer because we would have adopted this sweetie. Did she find a home?

By the grace of God and a very caring police staff (who by the way do not want any ending but a happy one for all impounds) our deadline past and low and behold my lab mix is still with me. I had to go out of town for a few days so I do apologize for my not so speedy response. We want very badly to place her. I wish she could talk to me and tell me about her adventure in this world of mixed up people. Ofcourse we all know she can send emails! LOL She and I talked about a real live photo session today so that everyone can see her bright and smiling face. She hangs on my every word and only wants to please. She loves to lay in our grooming shop while I work and has learned a lot about personal Labrador grooming!:) Not to mention Shih Tzus and poodles. The very idea that she got a second shot at life tells me that her special human forever friend is out there somewhere! Tomorrow after our bath and manicure we will take a photo to post to the list. When I was a child I grew up with labs and I know from the way she looks into my soul and I look into hers that her life mission is yet to come. Thank you so much for your interest and watch for the photo!

The only sad thing is that I will wish I could adopt her. Please let me know when she finds her forever home. I hope for one for her soon. She would have an amazing home here if I could have adopted her.
My guy is totally loved and adored. He goes for his 2 daily walks, games of fetch, and 2 swims a day. He is not fond of his ear cleaning after his swims though. He is brushed and gets his claws done on a regular basis.
Some people say he is too spoiled as he even has his own 'doggy seatbelt' in our van. My children adore him and my husband is thrilled to have another male in the house as he is surrounded by 4 females.
As you can see I could go on because "my boy" is very special to us.
Thanks again for your response.
