Guinness is as much fun as her name implies. She is a 70 lb. female (spayed) chocolate Lab loves to walk and play with her toys. Unfortunately, her owners have had a job change that requires them to be out of town and find that Guinness does not get the attention she deserves. She is housetrained and crate trained, currently spending 8-10 hours a day at home by herself. Since she spent her first 3 years living with a Boxer pup, she is good with other dogs. She is also good with children, especially toddlers with whom she has had the most exposure. Guinness had has basic obedience training and can reliably demonstrate her commands. She is able to walk on lead easily with “dad”, but “mom” uses a halti when walking Guinness. Because she is food motivated, a refresher course in obedience should be helpful in any pulling issues. She has been known to “counter-surf” if food is left out. Guinness will retrieve items and bring them back to you, even going under things to retrieve her toy. Then she will release the toy to you just like a typical Lab ….sometimes, when she wants to! Guinness has no possession issues. She is submissive to other dogs and even more so with people. She has no fears or phobias. Guinness loves car rides….even to the vet’s office! In January, Guinness had a small cyst (non-cancerous) removed from her front paw so she has a little scar there. She also has a few small spots on her paws where her hair has been licked off, probably as a result of her time spent in her crate. Guinness will need her new family to be careful with beef products as she tends to get ear inflammations when given beef. Consider it a little special treatment for your really special girl. Whether it is taking a walk, playing ball, or just laying by the fireplace,Guinness is a dog who is content to do what you do. She settles quickly when visitors arrive and is content to play with her toys as you entertain. Periodically she will ask for some doggie hugs, which you won’t be able to deny. Guinness has a laid-back personality and great eye contact with those big brown eyes. Who can resist? Does this sound like the dog for you? If so, contact us DaizeyOff@comcast.net for further information.

Ginger is a very sweet 24 month old female choc. lab. Her owners turned her in because she was not breedable. She is very friendly and at times can be shy. She loves to play fetch and enjoys being outside. Would make an excellent playmate for children or adults. Please contact: 410-820-1600 carolinehumane@yahoo.com

This dude is HOT!!! What a personality, you'll be the one drooling!!! Great with kids and other animals. Has that lab appeal and energy. Basic obedience is strongly recommended because (just like any other young man) he's got a short attention span. Training should be a breeze, he seems to be the kind of guy that just wants to make you happy. Call Debra, (203)558-2060 or Lorraine (203) 574-3549

4.16.03 - This gorgeous 4 year old boy is Gus - a beautiful chocolate lab who definitely needs to go on a major diet. He is Auburn Brother #2 and what a pleasure it is to have both boys here with me and my crew. Gus and Moby love each other dearly and are also quite the social butterflies. They have fit in to my house quite nicely. Gus is severely overweight and has problems getting around because of it. It is such a shame that these two boys did not find their owners - they were definitely loved.

I picked out a few in Georgia that were listed in shelters and such thinking that *maybe* we could ask Hayden, the guy that flew Georgia home...to fly one part way to you since I can't convince my BOD's to adopt to someone in PA yet, LOL!
