Close call New Years Day....Here's the short version....
I left to go visit family for 10 days...I live in Ontario...went to Winnipeg and left Hubby in charge of Bosco our 1 yr old and 12 yr old rottie fur kids. Christmas tree was still up and underneath was a gift basket from a friend that contained 2 ~ 400 gram dark chocloate Toblerone's Chocolate Bars!! and many other goodies...Guess who found it...Bosco...and he devoured it while hubby watched a movie on the lower level of the house...His fault completely for not keeping him in sight....well....what a night...Bosco did get the shakes.........was up all night....and had endless energy...more so than the usual 1 yr old spaz that he is.....NO puking, or anything of "other" sort...but hubby was scared to say the least. He called the vet and he did say that Bosco's size of 85lbs is what saved him from it being a toxic ingestion. I said to hubby...if my dog dies...your as good as dead when I get home ....lol:rolleyes:
