Well, it's been a wonderful week leading up to the holiday, I must say.
We've had several adoptions at CMLRN...and it's very exciting. Our litter of 7 and mom that we got from Allegan county are all going home this week (1 left yesterday and one's leaving today), and a great family is adopting both mom and one of the pups at the same time!
Here is Maggie and her pups when they first came into our rescue:

Then, we got a pair of 6 month old pups that are dumped out of a car in Madison Heights, MI:

and they went to their forever homes yesterday...
and Mr. Charlie, who was returned to us for peeing...ended up having a UTI was adopted last Tuesday, but is still having some peeing issues in his new home...but they love him (and I hope will work through these issues) and hang on to him forever. We say a little prayer for that...because it feels right to everyone involved in Mr. Charlie's life.
And of course we helped to facilitate Teddy's adoption with Kristin. :)
That is that. As long as Mr. Charlie stays in his home, we are now out of dogs, and we are taking a little siesta through January.
A lot of Christmas wishes were full filled this week..and I am very greatful to have had a hand in them!
Merry Christmas everyone!
