Hi everyone! Cooper's Mom here! I wanted to extend an invitation that I hope many of you can take me up on. I have planned and organized what will be our 2007-2008 Shandon Wood Dog Bowl. It is a bring your dog to the hockey game night, sponsored by Shandon Wood Animal Clinic. It will be December 8th at 7:05 pm. All leashed dogs with vaccination papers will be admitted. We are able to sell 500 tickets for the discounted price of $5, which is a STEAL to see a professional hockey team play, but more importantly, 100% of the proceeds from the 500 count ticket sales will go to local shelters. We will be handing out 500 limited edition plastic dog bowls to the first 500 people through the door. We will be holding a silent auction for a set of hand painted ceramic dog bowls signed by our 2007-2008 Columbia Inferno team. We are also raffling off a team signed dalmatian clock (our mascot is a dalmatian named Blaze) and any other items we can come up with between now and then to donate the proceeds to our local animal shelters. We will have a photo opportunity with our mascot Blaze, a Columbia Inferno player, yourself and your dog in front of Blaze's dog house for a small donation as well. Again, all proceeds will be distributed between South Carolina HSPCA, Project Pet, Pets Inc and Animal Mission.
