We are slowly switching Jackson's food over to Candidae. He was on Iams but due to his anal gland issues and because he goes #2 like 5 x/day, we thought we'd try something more natural and healthy.

Anyway, I have noticed he seems a little constipated. Is there anything I can give him to help this? He is 10 months old.

Try a spoonful of plain pumpkin (the canned kind, but not the kind with spices) or half of a banana mashed in with his food.

Banannas seem to give him the runs, so I'll try the pumpkin...I feel so awful and am not sure if it is the switching of the food, or just coincidence or as a result of his glands.

Usually he goes at lunch time, I'll try them then. The new food has a lot of fiber in it.

I hate to be paranoid.
