Posted this in the Fire Hydrant section too'
My 9 month old lab Daisy who I just got on Tuesday is a finicky eater as the previous owner told us. My other labs eat with gusto. But what's weird is that Daisy will take a few pieces of kibble then do a few licks of her front legs. I've watched her and she does it just about every time she takes some kibble, she'll eat the pieces then give a couple licks to her front legs and then eat a little again. I moistened her food this morning to see if she would eat better and she did take a little more. I've even given her other kibble and she barely picks at it but still always licks her front legs. Is this weird or what? I know she won't starve that when she really gets hungry she eat, but the licking part is strange. Any ideas of what is going on?
