Has anyone read it? I heard that it was pretty good.
This is waht is said about it.
Christopher Boone is a fifteen and has Asperger's, a form of autism. He knows a great deal about math and very little about human beings. When he finds his neighbors's dog murdered he sets out on a terrifying journey which will turn his world upside down.

I enjoyed it. It was cute and gave me more perspective about what it's like to have autism.

It was a great book. Its written from the prespective of the 15 year old with Autism. The boys parents are seperated and he lives with his Dad. He finds his neighbours dog murdered (one of the few living beings he has connected with) and he begins a quest to find out what happened. It was very well written and an amazing read. I have a friend whose child has autism so I found it a great insite. I highly recommend it to all people, its a really quick read and thoroghly enjoyable.

I plan on checking this book out soon, it sounds interesting. I just started volunteering for an organization called Great Lakes Assistance Dogs, which trains and provides assistance dogs to chicldren with Autism, so I am trying to learn more about the disorder.

I read this book last year while I was on vacation.
I really enjoyed it, although it would get a bit hard to read when he gets into all of the math that he enjoys.
But all in all I thought it was a good read.

I chose this book for discussion in my reading group. It isn't about dogs at all, really. I found the character fascinating and in so many ways like people who do not have autism. Some of his perceptions are just so fresh. It makes you look at things in a new light. I loved how he made himself focus and search for a solution to carrying out his plan in spite of his handicaps. I think there is a lot those of us who are without handicaps can learn from this character.
I am waiting for a copy to come into the library. It sounds like an intersting read.
