I'm sure we've all got a picture or two of our dirty/muddy Labs, so let's see them! :) The contest will be open until Monday, December 26th. I will take votes for a few days and announce the winner by the 30th. The winner will get to choose the January theme plus choose a collar from www.3dirtydawgz.com .

I've browsed your forum many times in the past but when I saw the theme for the December photo contest I just had to register to share this picture with you guys. The guidelines say you have to be a regular poster, so since this is my first I can't win, but you guys will all appreciate the shot anyway :)

This is Bud from this summer. We went swimming in a pond on one of my family's farms. It's just an irrigation pond so there's no sandy banks or anything. It gets real muddy on the edges after an hour of fetching the floating retrieve toy :)

I'm posting this on behalf of Michelle, Baumsa's loving & devoted mother. Baumsa loves to swim after sticks and gleefully crunches them to pieces after returning to shore. He also loves to roll on his back afterwards -- sometimes just before getting into the car! He is always one happy dog. :-)

For anyone who remembers the picture of Dan sleeping in his puppy crate.

Here's a picture of him trying to reclaim that crate from the puppies after he had grown way too big.
He let himself in through the doggie door covered in mud and this is how I found him. I had to clean the floors, walls and yes the ceiling after this episode. No more doggie doors on rainy days. :nono:
