hi,
Has anyone tried dehydrated dog foods for their labs? according to the manufacturer, they are
wholesome foods for dogs, produced using gentle dehydration, a unique new approach to canine nutrition. These foods help you create delicious, nutritious, colorful meals made with real, recognizable ingredients, that are ready to prepare and serve at home.
offer many of the benefits of a biologically appropriate raw pet food diet, combined with the convenience and peace of mind of a nutritionally balanced, ready-blended product.
Dehydration also eliminates the safety concerns often associated with the storage and transportation of raw frozen diets, and there are none of the intrinsic astronomical shipping charges.
it all sounds good and I'm interested to try this out for Sandy since she's been a bit fussy about her food (NB organic) recently. but the cost is relatively higher and I'm not sure if it's worth the $?
This is the nutritional analysis, is it suitable for an 11 mth old lab?
(Dry Matter Basis)
Protein 21.0% (min)
Fat 14.0% (min)
Fiber 5.5% (max)
Moisture 7.0% (max)
Calcium 1.6% (min), 1.8% (max)
Phosphorus 1.0% (min), 1.2% (max)
Magnesium 0.09% (min), 0.16% (max)
Sodium 0.2% (min), 0.38% (max)
Thanks!
