Hi All.. Well the vet believes Cole to have allergies, and we are changing his
food for now, but I did not have blood work done yet.
He has lost weight, along with lots of fur.. and I also may not have been
feeding him quiet enough for fear of him getting fat.
I was feeding 3 cups a day, he has just turned 1 this week, but there
are days when I need to put aside some of his food for treats for
his training sessions. I am realizing that on days that I do not work with him
too much, he then is getting only 2- 2 1/2 cups of food.
But I wanted to find out if when a dog starts to show signs of allergies,
do their weights drop off.
He is not scratching or biting his feet as much, but he has small furless
patches under his eyes, and on the tops of his legs, His fur just has
thinned in general, unless what he had before was puppy fur and he is
getting his adult coat?
