Although I didn't get to go, from what everyone says, the event was a big success. There were many, many big jumping dogs there. It was hot.....VERY hot....but it didn't seem to affect the dogs' jumping.

Hubby took Spud. It was Spuddy boy's first competition. His best jump was 11'6" which is about average for what he's been doing in practice. But he got a participation medal and thinks he's a champ. Here are a couple of photos, one of Spud jumping and one of him with his medal:

And here the link to my husband's photo site (http://www.skyhawk.exposuremanager.com/g/cma-nashville_tn_event). He's a professional sports photographer. He took a lot of photos at the event.

I can't wait until the Dock Dogs event in Columbus, GA in just a few weeks!!! :thumb4:

Congrats Spud on a job well done! If you don't mind me asking who one and who placed where and what were their distances? That is if anyone knows. :p:

I looked at the Dock Dog site. It looks like Wylie and Dean Skillman (awesome dog!) won with a jump of 24.0. Second went to Major 23.2, 3rd and fourth placed dogs didn't jump their second jump? I wonder why.

Wylie is a cool dog, he is from MI.

If you go to the DockDogs website (http://www.dockdogs.com), you can find the results.
