my dh bought our dog his food today, he accidentally got him iams mini chunks, we have always given him iams large breed. we were completely out so i didn't have choice but to feed him that. my question is do you think he will have any side affects from this? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks a lot

My dad did the SAME thing. He picked up the adult rather than the senior food. Of course, he didn't see the need to go back and get the right bag once he noticed his mistake.
Dryf had a few accidents for the first few days on the new food (he poo-ed inside) but that was all.
Keep an eye on him, he may experience the same things he would if you changed foods too fast.

Maybe you could return the food for the correct one?
