I am looking for some hints on how to get someone with a dog to visit my grandmother and her neighbors on a regular basis. They live in a senior apartment (no onsite management).

Last Friday, Ace's visit really made her day. I never thought I'd see an 88 y/o woman throwing tennis balls in the house. When I was a kid, we would have been spanked for doing that - especially if we hit the china cabinet like Grandma did.

We lives in a very small town near Madison WI. I will be moving 6,000 miles from there so it is not possible to take Ace on routine visits - even thought Continental Airlines will give him frequently flyer miles.:thumb4:

Thanks for any advice you can give.

I would suggest contacting one of the groups that does therapy training in your area. I wish I knew of someone around my area that was looking for a dog to come visit.

I think the last Thread here lists some of the Therapy dog organizations. Maybe give one of them a try and see if they might be able to help.
