Please broadcast this to the world. This is the final
list of who will be PTD if there's no way out.
1) Onyx
2) Bindy
3) Amy
This is the least number of dogs to clear the most
space. That's how we do it here. As far as we're
concerned no dog is ever "time's up". Of course,
rescue of any dogs will make PTD unnecessary, and it
will be called off (with great joy).
Kirby, Jen is prepared to declare you a saint. But so
far she can't find any kennel or vet's that isn't
full.

Three beautiful Black Labs-
This is JUST AWFUL!

This is the shelter that is striving to become a no kill that Wendy saved Daisy, now Hope, from!

I'm just sick.

how can it be "no kill" if they are going to euthenize?

East Ridge Animal Services is STRIVING to become No Kill.
They have gotten the euth. rate down to 2%. Carl and Jen at the shelter work really hard to find rescues or adopters for the dogs, but right now they ARE VERY OVERCROWDED. They are a small, very rural shelter and don' get much attention.

They have NO SPACE now, so there is no other option for the three young Black Labs, actually there are four, who have BEEN THERE a Long Time.

There is also a 5-7 yr. old Shepherd Mix there named Missy that friends of mine and I have been trying to find a home for since Sept., with no luck.
Now poor Missy is in a kennel with young pups there are driving her crazy.
Her adoption fee is only $35.

Oh no.....so many in such dire straights.

Is there any way we could all chip in and buy them some outdoor runs (about $200 here for a 10' x 10' dog kennel) and some dog houses? It's sure better than death.

I just e-mailed Jen and Carl about Trish's idea.
Think they're closed on Sunday and tomorrow is Christmas, so we might have to wait for an answer. Don't know when they are planning to PTS.
