I just found out that Eukanuba is made by the Iams company . I always thought (been told) - Eukanuba is a better brand of dog food than Iams. Does anyone know if they truly are different? Now, I'm thinking Eukanuba is not as good or is Iams a good brand a dog food? Compared to like Science Diet, Pedigree, etc? I know Eukanuba is not the best dog food out there - there are others but I was just wondering/thinking - is there a difference between Iams and Eukanuba? Mio was on Nutro before but it was not sitting well with him - his poops was very stinky and soft - once I switched him to Eukanuba is stool is much firmer and much less stinky! What else should I look at if I decide to switch or am I better off staying with Eukanuba?

Thanks.

Eukanuba is supposed to be the "premium line".I've noticed that Iams uses chicken by-products,Euk doesnt.

I've fed Eukanuba for years and have really great luck with it. My dogs are pretty fit and don't poop much which tells me they're really using what they eat.

I think if he's doing well on it then you should stick with it. Just go by how your dog looks and acts to make your decision about what to feed.
