So, we finally had an event in our town. Ten minutes from our house. My agility class came, friends, family etc etc. Midas refused to go in - which was a big bummer. Then I fell in the pool! I have photos but they're all watermarked with my website so I wasn't sure if that was ok?? If you guys want to see them - if not, that is cool too - b/c it was in front of 200 ppl and I figure that was embarrassing enough lol. Anyone else ever done this?

I've never done it (almost did once!), but I've seen someone else do it at practice once. And a member of our club did it once at a competition. I've seen a picture of that.

What was everyone's reaction? Where are you located? Was it outside or inside? Cold?

LOL!!! I checked out your website and that's hilarious. Sounds exactly like something I would do. I think you can post the pictures with the watermark. I'm sure everyone would love to see them.

LOL - a guy fell in last week in Arizona during practice. Walked straight backwards, right in...backpack, bluetooth and all :floor

I was in Grand Rapids, it was indoors and it was FRIGID. It was also a shocker, so I put Mason in his sit/stay. And he kept scooting forward, I kept scooting back (I KNOW this is bad and STILL did it! *stupid*)...until I backed right off the dock. It was a complete shock. The water was really cold and I sank to the bottom before I thought to stand up lol. The crowd I guess gasped HUGE when I fell in (it looked like I had scraped my leg on the way in). This photo shows it all. The women are covering their mouths/gasping, the men are laughing...and Mason is worried and wondering what I'm doing in the water with his toy!

It was embarrassing...but what can you do but laugh?? People gave me clothes to wear for the rest of the day - how nice is that? One guy had windsuit pants waiting for me when I got off the dock (since I had to jump Mason while I was dripping) :)

That picture is great. Mason look so concerned by the fact that you have his toy... Not all of us have greatctures of or embarressing moments to laugh at in the future, you should feel lucky!

LOL, it's alright - I laughed too - in between teeth-chatters ;) . He did not go in while I was in the pool. He looks worried in the photo and I think I know why. When he's about to do something naughty, I will GASP and say "MASON, what are you doing?" and that's enough for him to not do it. Well, when I went in, the crowd thought I had hurt myself so there was a huge gasp (or so I was told, I was under water) and I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't know what he was supposed to be doing. But, the little champ jumped right in when I got back up on the dock (unlike Midas). He's seriously all heart and it's just so awesome! :)

I can only hope NOT!!! lol. I haven't heard anything. But, when he was going to pull me out the end (and my pants started falling), I faced the audience so if it is caught on tape - my butt will be on it :o: oh the things I do for my dogs...lol

I have never had to worry before because Midas always has had a strong sit/stay, so I just turn and walk away from him and then turn back to him at the end. Mason I have to keep my eye on...oh well - live and learn lol.
