I have a female 1 year old chocolate lab who I need to find a good home for! I have 3 children who are not reacting to her very well! She is a full bread chocolate lab. She has not been fixed yet!

Hi, well we are almost neighbors... We are in Winston Salem... Its so sad you need to give up your pup. We have 2 kids ages 2 & 6, and a 9 week old Chocolate Lab, girl.

If you dont mind me asking... What are the problems between your Kids & your Lab? Has your Lab had any "formal" training?

My children are scared of her because she still jumps on them when they go outside. No, we haven't gotten her any formal training and I know this would help the situation. We just don't have time right now to give her the kind of attention she really needs.

Hi Michele, check your private messages (bottom of screen on home page)... I listed a couple of resources in our area for in- kennel training (your lab goes to their kennel for a few weeks and they do the "hard work for you")... If this isn’t a viable option I also included a link for a local rescue. (I haven’t had any personal dealings with either organization, but if you contact them perhaps they can help you out).

I strongly recommend getting her formal training! It is a time consuming must. However, well worth the time & effort for your children as well as your Lab.

Please keep me posted! Hope everything works out for the best!
