the whole foods here actually has raw beef marrow bones :D :D :D dh is going to pick some up after work and i'll give the dogs one tomorrow. they are going to love it :D

oh my goodness, they love them!!! zoe will usally rebel and refuse the treat if she is locked up or on a tie down with it, but not the marrow bones. she took it to the back of the kennel and went to work on it without even a second glance :D :D

Hershey loves them also. Do they replace Greenies? I usually give Hershey about 3 greenies a week for her teeth and breath. Can I just give her 1 marrow bone a week now instead?

i don't usally give mine greenies since the are so stinking expensive. i do know that marrow bones are supposed to help with their teeth though.

jghayden, sure you could! I only give my boys raw marrow bones for chewing. Drum in particular has shown dramatic improvement to his teeth! His teeth were nasty (greyhounds are famous for bad teeth) Grip's always had good teeth as he's spent the past half of his life (2 yrs) on a raw diet.
