Okay, so as I getting to the bottom of my Fish Oil and Vitamin E bottles. And it dawned on me. Why again do I feed both Vitamin E with fish oil and what is the correct dosage?

My understanding is Fish Oil is good for the coat and the skin, but that it can create a Vit E deficiency. Is that true? And what is the benefit of Vitamin E?

The fish oil will deplete the body of vit. E causing a deficiency. Therefore you must supplement with E when giving fish oil.

I use 400iu of E but you would be fine with 200iu - along with the average 1000mg of fish oil.

I recently met w/an ortho vet about my adult dog. We were talking about her aftercare...he said to continue w/the fish oil and add vit e and selenium -my dog has burstis and shows some damage to one of her wrists...
