I switched Levi over from Pro Plan to canidae recently and it is worling out much better. His stool is much more solid and although it still get a bit runny at times, there is a dramatic improvement. I also switched him from city water to bottled/jug water which also seems to help.

p.s.- does bottled water really make a difference? What in the water could cause problems?

Treated water cholorine and all that stuff is not the best for people and it can take its tole on animals as well, so if you can bottle water or filtered is better for everyone.

My pups eat Beneful, and drink filtered water from our refridgerator. Their stool is normal, and not runny at all.
They only eat Beneful on ther wet food. They get Pedigree and Purina wet food with Benful peices on top. Filtered water for a final, healthy and crisp, clean touch. They love it. They only eat in the morning, and in the evening. And treats inbetween. If someone else is eating, they might get some people food, but not alot. They seem very healthy.
